The listing of the Linet UK product range means that customers will be provided with a high-quality and value for money service as Linet UK and NHS Supply Chain work together to develop a world class supply chain.

 

 

NHS Supply Chain provides end-to-end supply chain services incorporating procurement, logistics, e-commerce, and customer and supplier support. With around 1,700 people, NHS Supply Chain manage the procurement and delivery of over 500,000 'in-scope' products for more than 600 NHS trusts, hospitals and other healthcare organisations. They work with a range of suppliers across diverse product categories to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products.

 

The aim of NHS Supply Chain is to provide over £1 billion of savings to the NHS so that resources are released for customers to focus on quality frontline patient care, manage costs and achieve sustainable value.

 

NHS Supply Chain is a single organisation created for the benefit of NHS trusts, hospitals and other healthcare organisations. It is a 10-year contract operated by DHL Logistics on behalf of the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA). 

 

Its organisation brings together world-class skills and experience through a combination of former NHS Logistics Authority, significant parts of the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency, expertise in healthcare logistics from DHL and procurement experience from Novation.

The Linet range of beds has been in the UK market since 2000 and in particular the ELEGANZA range of bedframes has found wide acceptance, with an installed base of over 20,000 bedframes in use.
