WEEE Environmental Disposal

LINET UK is a part of LINET Group SE, a prominent European manufacturer of beds and related medical equipment. From our Central Support Office in Portchester, Hampshire we operate nationwide teams of customer service staff, engineers and installers. The majority of our staff are out with our customers every day, providing the assistance and services that our customers need.

Our design team, PSP Technology, create new product designs for pressure area care products to be manufactured in Slany and assist with the introduction of these designs into production. PSP Technology also give technical & clinical approval of any pressure area care products that are to be purchased from third party suppliers (O.E.M)

LINET UK operates of a documented Quality System focused on delivering excellent customer service to our customers. This is integrated with our environmental management system which is focused on minimising our significant aspects and reducing any risk of pollution that might arise from the processes, activities and infrastructure of our business.

Quality Objectives

LINET UK shall ensure that the quality policy:

• Is a commitment to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction through delivering high

          quality products and support services.

• Is appropriate to the purpose of the organisation including regulatory requirements.
• Is a commitment to comply with the requirements and continually improve and maintain the effectiveness of

          the Quality Management System. 

• Provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives and targets to continually improve its

          performance.

• Is focused on ensuring a customer and regulatory focused design service.

Environmental Objectives

In order to achieve this LINET UK will commit to:

• Identifying its environmental aspects and determining their significance.
• Determine and implement controls that will prevent the significant impacts of our activities resulting in

          pollution.

• Identifying and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation, regulations and other

          requirements such as codes of practice relating to our environmental aspects.

• Developing Continual Improvement Programmes via an Objectives and Target Management Program.
• Developing and testing Emergency Response Plans that would deal with any potential environmental incidents.
• Ensuring Training and Awareness exists at all levels of the organisation on Environmental issues relevant to

           us.

• The environmental objectives of our design team are primarily focused on reduction of product lifecycle

          impacts such as; manufacturing aspects, energy consumption in use, minimum use of packaging,

          dismantable and recyclable product at end of life.
